Prince Edward Island is located in Eastern Canada in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence directly North of New Brunswick and to the West of Nova Scotia. Getting here by air from within Canada is easy as the island is served by regularly scheduled flights from Toronto, Montreal and Halifax on Air Canada/Air Canada Jazz. PEI can also be reached in the summer from Boston (Delta) and from JFK NY (Delta). Other US cities can connect through these gateways or via the Canadian gateway cities available on Air Canada.

Ground transportation to the island can be made quite easily by means of the spectacular Confederation Bridge which connects PEI directly to mainland New Brunswick. PEI is approximately 1000km/600miles from Toronto, 1100km/660miles from Boston and 1450km/870miles from New York City.

The Roseport is located directly on the waterfront overlooking the Charlottetown harbor and is about a 10 minute drive to the capital city airport. It is less than an hour’s drive from the Roseport to the Confederation Bridge. Our Monticello bed and breakfast operation is located on Route 16 (the Northside Road) about an hour’s drive East of Charlottetown. We are accessible via Route 2 and St. Peters Bay.

The Briggs Suite, situated on the third floor, offers luxury accommodations with magnificent views of the harbor from every window. Two outside decks overlook Confederation Landing Park and the proposed new location of the Charlottetown Yacht Club. Both bedrooms offer attractive views of the waterfront even while lying in bed. The MBR deck allows the taking of morning sun as it rises in the East over the Hillsborough River. The living room deck looks out over Confederation Landing Park and provides views of the sun as it sets over the waterfront district.

On-site free parking is available to guests of the Briggs Suite during your stay.

“Long live the world wide web..what a hit!! You can take comfort in knowing that your fantastically appointed kitchen has now received a proper “christening”..”a L’Italiano.” We think some of your co-op neighbors are worried you may have taken to operating a “trattoria.” Thank you for a truly luxurious and restful stay! It was like being at home. Ciao, merci, a la prochaine. Mario & Maria, Montreal, Quebec.

Thanks to the both of you for the use of your lovely condo. The accommodations were wonderful. Lovely views, excellent restaurants, quaint shops. We enjoyed our stay. Bob & Wendy, Florence, MA
